To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA):

YB Chong commenced by recognizing the ministry’s endeavours to promote the utilization of the e-Register. She then inquired about any strategies MFA has implemented to enhance its visibility. Following this, she posed questions regarding the utilization of the e-registration platform to engage with citizens and residents abroad, aiming to foster a more robust support network among Bruneians. YB Chong believes such initiatives can contribute to the creation of a cohesive Brunei community internationally, indicating their potential to enhance Brunei’s image.

MFA’s Response:

The Minister reiterated MFA’s commitment to raising awareness about the e-Register, outlining forthcoming plans for promotional campaigns and heightened awareness efforts. Furthermore, the Minister affirmed that the website will undergo continuous upgrades in both design and content, with future plans to introduce accessibility through a mobile phone application.
